A BETTER LIFE

My name is Donna Lynn Valentine. I’m the 5th of six children raised up in St. Louis, Missouri. Also, I am a wife and mother of two children who are now adults. I come from an evangelical family who taught me to love others as thy self.

I attended Missouri State University and Lindenwood University. Through my academic journey, I received the editor’s award for my poem “Rivers of Life” for its unique style and perception.

God has given each of us a purpose. Writing poetry that ignites, insights, and inspires is mine.

My latest work, Mirrored Affections, focuses on how to be an inspirational partner while helping move us to grow in His image, knowledge, and love.
